The MIL-F-87260 (Black) is the current spec and most widely used type of reticulated polyurethane foam in military applications.  Reticulated polyurethane foam used as an explosion suppressor will minimize fuel tank overpressure caused by: gunfire, electrical ignition, lightning strikes and electrostatic discharges.

PWF has worked closely with our suppliers for more than 30 years allowing us to receive the best pricing on materials. We pride ourselves on minimizing waste which helps to cut down costs. Additionally, we relocated to Arizona a few years ago which allowed us to lower costs even further. We pass these savings down to our clients.

We are located in the beautiful high desert of Prescott, Arizona. Our 10,000 square foot facility is in the Prescott Regional Airpark, minutes from the airport. For aircraft that need to be outfitted, we have the capability of a fly-in, straight to the hanger for installation. We work closely with the city of Prescott and have the resources to make this a flawless installation, should you need.

In racing fuel cells, typically the access hole to the tank is much larger than you find on a conventional tank. 

All pieces in kits, regardless of size, are MIL-F-87260

Over the years, we have found that certain sizes tend to cover most applications.  Although we only list a few sizes for our fuel cell foam, we can make any size you need.  We can mix and match sizes as well.

“ECOLOCELⓇ” is the name of INOAC’s domestic biomass polyurethane foam composed of over 50% of plant-based raw materials. In creating this foam, they were successful in maintaining physical properties equal to products using oil-based raw materials.
